Bio
I am a driven fourth-year student at Sheridan College and the current President of Sheridan Women in Film and Television, with a passion for film production and digital communication. My work centres on crafting compelling stories through both documentary and narrative media while managing collaborative creative teams from concept through final delivery.
Throughout my academic and professional experience, I have developed a strong foundation in production leadership, visual storytelling, and post-production workflows. I have worked across multiple roles, including producer, director, casting director, assistant director, editor, and transmedia producer and post production supervisor allowing me to understand the creative and logistical demands of filmmaking from every stage of production.
My education at Sheridan has allowed me to contribute to a wide range of collaborative student film productions across different genres and formats. These projects have strengthened my skills in production management, directing teams, and creative problem-solving creatively contributing to both documentary and narrative storytelling. I aim to build a career in media and communications where I can develop meaningful content and lead projects that inspire audiences and amplify diverse voices.
My internship took place at Sheridan College, where I produced a series of professional short-form training videos for the college.
I was responsible for organizing production meetings, coordinated shoot schedules and crews, assisted in script development, directed on set, and managed the full post-production process. Alongside my internship, I have built extensive on-set and post-production experience as a Director, Videographer, and Editor at Bright Idea Films, a full-service wedding videography company in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
